Medical Technology senior, Megan Zadra
of Pasadena, was
awarded one of 50 American Society for
Clinical Pathology (ASCP) scholarships
given out in a clinical year. The award is offered to students enrolled
in their final clinical year of study in either Cytotechnologist (CT),
Histotechnician (HT), Histotechnologist (HTL), Medical Laboratory Technician
(MLT), Pathologists’ Assistant (PA) or Medical Technologist (MT) programs. To
be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must be enrolled in a NAACLS or
CAAHEP accredited laboratory science program, be either a United States
citizen or a permanent resident, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0
scale. Zadra is a graduate of ChesapeakeHigh School and the
daughter of Dennis and Charlene Zadra.
