Stevenson University Adds New Members to President’s Advisory Council

Stevenson University has added Robert A. Zirkin, Owen J. Rouse, Jr., Ronald M. Causey, and Susan Wilfong to its President’s Advisory Council, a group of about 50 community leaders who meet biannually and advise University President Kevin J. Manning, Ph.D., on a variety of issues related to the growth and strategic direction of the University.

Zirkin is a member of the Senate, a Democrat for District 11. He is on several committees including the Budget and Taxation, the Joint Committee on Children, Youth and Families, the Joint Subcommittee on Program Open Space and Agricultural Land Preservation, and the Special Committee on Substance Abuse. Zirkin was previously a member of the House of Delegates. Zirkin is an Owings Mills resident.

Rouse is a Senior Vice President and partner for Manekin, LLC, a full-service commercial real estate company. He is responsible for Manekin’s equity raising activities. He is the former president of the local chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties, and a former member of Loyola College’s Sellinger School of Business Advisory Board.  Rouse is a Baltimore resident.

Causey is the director and co-founder of SC&H Group, LLC. He advises clients in valuation techniques, refund opportunities, asset classification and exemptions, asset obsolescence, and retirement. Causey is also on the board for Towson University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Causey is a Sparks resident.

Wilfong, an active member of the Baltimore community, has also been added.
