Stevenson University's Office of Student Affairs has added two
new professionals to the staff serving the University’s student
population, especially the 1,200 residents living at the Owings Mills
campus.
Robert Mikus was named Associate Dean and Director of Residence Life.
Mikus comes to Stevenson U. from Elizabethtown College where he served
as Director of Residence Life. Mikus, who has more than 14 years of
residence life experience, has a master’s degree from LaSalle
University and is a doctoral candidate at Indiana University of
Pennsylvania.
“We are excited to welcome a dedicated student affairs professional
like Bob to our staff,” says Claire Moore, Vice President for Student
Affairs and Dean of Students. “He will play a major role in the
development of a comprehensive residence life program for our
students.”
The University has also added Kirsten Gaskin to its Wellness Center staff
as a licensed nurse practitioner. Gaskin has a master’s degree from the
University of Maryland, and has worked at Hunt Valley Family Health and
Johns Hopkins Hospital.
"Kirsten will join our growing Wellness Center to promote health education and provide care for our students,” Moore says.
