Local Forensic Science Graduate Student Wins Memorial Scholarship

Villa Julie College graduate student Jessica Foran,
a resident of Hampden, won the George H. Robinson Memorial Scholarship
award from the Chesapeake Bay Division of International Association for
Identification. Foran, who is pursing a master’s in Forensic Science,
presented a poster presentation at the CBD-IAI conference in York,
Pennsylvania where she was presented the award. Her research focused on
the origin of bloodstains, which is important to crime scene
investigators and in courtroom testimony.
