Stevenson University Symposium to Highlight Exciting Career Possibilities for Nurses

Registered nurses can get a glimpse into new and exciting career options at the "Creative Careers in Nursing" symposium at Stevenson University on Wednesday, March 21.

The event, which will start at 6 p.m. in the new Rockland Center on Stevenson University's Owings Mills campus, will feature sessions on Disaster Preparedness, Forensic Nursing, Nurse Innovators, and Nurse Paralegal. Experienced nurses will discuss how Stevenson's RN-to-BS program can help nurses broaden their careers.

Panelists will include Ellen R. Clayton, MSN, Instructor in the Stevenson U. Nursing Division and former Deputy Health Officer for Baltimore County; Robin Prothro, MPH, Executive Director of the Maryland Affiliate of The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation; Joyce Maygers, RN, MSN, Clinical Guidelines Coordinator in the Department of Care Management at Johns Hopkns Bayview Medical Center; and Barbara Galloway, RN, CEN, Assistant Director of Nursing at Union Memorial Hospital.
